Vendée has many assets in terms of rambling, beginning with the diversity of the landscapes travelled, which guarantee the discovery of a new panorama with each new route you take.
Do you like hilly landscapes, rocky coastal paths, or sandy beaches? A multitude of walks awaits you in Vendée. Do you prefer the calm of the Poitevin Marshes? A labyrinth of canals will lead into the most secret heartland of the Venise Verte... Nearby, the forested area of Mervent-Vouvant stretches over 5,000 hectares – an ideal place for walking or rambling.
The various marked pathways of Vendée are as suitable for family walks as they are for experienced ramblers. Vendée has 4,000 km of Grande Randonnée paths.

A network of trails will enable you to breathe in the fresh air of the coast, treck across the Bocage country and the marshes and walk or ride through the Mervent-Vouvant forest.
