Authentic hospital-bunker with operating theatre in action during August 1944, following a naval and air battle in front the Sables harbour, until the arrival of the French Resistance. The 20 rooms of this rare hospital blockhouse, frozen in their exceptional original state for over 70 years, have been carefully refurnished. 8€/adult, 5-12 years, disabled people and veterans from 1939-1945. Tickets on sale at the tourist office. Open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (7 p.m. from April to September). Last admissions 1 hour before closing. Closed December 24 and 25. Annual closure in January (reopening for the February school holidays).
