LOGIS DE LA CHABOTTERIE

SAINT SULPICE LE VERDON

The Logis de la Chabotterie offers an evocative insight into the gentle pace of rural life at the end of the 18th century.

Scene of the arrest of General Charette in 1796, it is also an important historic site which marks the end of the War in the Vendée. There are 10 rooms open to visitors (audio guides available), an enclosed formal garden and a walk-through display about the Vendée uprising.
July-August: carriage rides, free tours in period costume for 5-9 year olds, the 15th Festival of Baroque Music “Musiques à la Chabotterie”.
NEW: from 13th July to 24th August, Wednesday evening shows (except 10th August).

Opening times:
From 1st/09 to 30th/06: Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, Sundays and bank holidays from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Closed every day at 6:00 pm from 25th/10 to 28th/03.
From 1st/07 to 31st/08: daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Closed on 25th/12, 1st/01 and the last three weeks in January.

Admission:
Adult: 6 €
18-25 years old, disabled persons, unemployed: 3 €
Free for under 18.
