CHÂTEAU D’APREMONT

APREMONT

Built high on a rocky promontory, the Château d’Apremont enjoys a commanding position overlooking the valley of the Vie river.

The two magnificent towers which can be seen today are the legacy of a Renaissance château built in the the 16th century by Philippe CHABOT DE BRION, Admiral of France and friend of François I, on the site of the medieval fortress.
Don’t miss the panoramic view from the top of the East Tower and the exhibitions "Le Rêve de l’Amiral” (The Admiral’s Dream) (video and virtual theatre) and "Le Rouleau d’Apremont".
Children’s treasure hunt.
