CHATEAU DE TALMONT

TALMONT SAINT HILAIRE

The Château de Talmont, a listed medieval fortress dating back to the 11th century, gives you a taste of what life was like in the Middle Ages.

Activities include workshops, performances and guided tours on weekdays during July and August, including:
- Mondays: free dressage demonstrations, weaponry displays, staged combats, storytelling and theatre;
- Tuesdays: the secrets of heraldry, jugglers, storytelling and theatre;
- Wednesdays: displays of chivalry;
- Thursdays and Fridays: displays of falconry.
Permanent attractions: little knight’s trail, crossbow archery, calligraphy, period costumes, wooden games etc.

Opening times:
Visit of the castle
From 9th/04 to 8th/07: from 10:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
From 3rd/09 to 30th/09: from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
From 9th/07 to 2nd/09: Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am to 7:00pm._
Medieval activities
From 9th/07 to 31st/08: Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 7:00pm.

Visit of the castle:
Adult: 5 €
Child (5-12 years old): 2,50 €

Medieval activities:
Adult: 8 €
Child (5-12 years old): 4 €
