LOGIS DE LA CHABOTTERIE

SAINT SULPICE LE VERDON

The Logis de la Chabotterie offers an evocative insight into the gentle pace of rural life at the end of the 18th century.

Scene of the arrest of General Charette in 1796, it is also an important historic site which marks the end of the War in the Vendée. There are 10 rooms open to visitors (audio guides available), an enclosed formal garden and a walk-through display about the Vendée uprising.
All the year round: orientation trail with funbook (for 10-13 year olds).
July-August: carriage rides, free tours in period costume (for 5-9 year olds).
SPECIAL EVENT: 16th Festival of Baroque Music “Musiques à la Chabotterie”, from 17th July to 7th August.
New: evening shows on Wednesdays in July and August.

Opening times:
From 1st/01 to 31st/03: Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6:00pm, Sundays and bank days from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
From 1st/04 to 30th/06 and September: Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6:00pm. Sundays and bank days from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
July and August: everyday from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
From October: please consult us.
Closed on 25th/12, 1st/01 and the last three weeks in January.

Admission:
Adult: 6 €
18-25 years old, disabled persons, unemployed: 3 €
Free for under 18.
