SAINT GILLES CROIX DE VIE

Discover through video footage the world of sardine fishing and canning at the last cannery left in the Vendée.

Marvel at the powerful images, experience the tough life of a sardine fisherman and admire the care and attention of the packers as the sardines of St Gilles Croix de Vie are placed in their superbly illustrated cans. You will be moved by the touching stories of these men and women as they describe their work with passion. At the end of the film, a knowledgeable hostess will answer your questions and invite you to taste our products.

Opening times:
From 1st/02 to 30th/06: Monday to Friday at 11:00am, 3:00pm and 4:30pm.
From 1st/07 to 31st/08: Monday to Friday at 11:00am, 2:30pm, 4:00pm and 5:30pm.
From 1st/09 to 30th/09: Monday to Friday at 11:00 am, 3:00 and 4:30pm.
From 1st/10 31st/12: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm and 4:30pm.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the session begins.
Closed in January.

Free for children under 16.
