Journey to the centre of the mine.

Discover a Vendée village with a coal-mining heritage which dates back 130 years. Don’t miss…
- the museum: “descend” into the reconstructed mine, where you will find permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Guided tours in period costume, with funbooks and a children’s play area for 4-12 year olds.
- the miners’ cottages: see where the workers, the foremen and the managers lived.
- the stained glass windows: contemporary works by Carmelo Zagari.
2012 exhibition: “Electricity, from coal to the fuels of tomorrow”, showing from 7th April until 30th September.
On site: activities and workshops, walking trail, cycle track, day fishing etc.

Opening times:
Winter holidays: Wednesday to Sunday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
April, May, June and September: Wednesday to Sunday and bank holidays from 2:00pm to 7:00pm.
July and August: everyday from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
All Saints’ holidays: Wednesday to Sunday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

Admission:
Adult: from 4 € to 8,50 €
Concessions: from 3 € to 6,50 €
Teenager (8-18) : from 2 € to 6 €
Free for children under 7.
