MANOIR DES SCIENCES DE REAUMUR

REAUMUR

Enter the world of 18th century scientist and scholar, Réaumur, and as you follow an activity trail, discover his works (birds, insects, metals) and inventions (thermometer, glass beehive, “poussinière“).

In the buildings adjoining the main house, you’ll find demonstrations of scientific experiments, a café, a reading room and a games room for adults and children.
In the gardens you can enjoy honey collection, concerts, sky gazing etc. On Wednesdays during school holidays, you can BECOME A SCIENTIST (for 6 to 12 year olds).
From 15th June to 16th September, enjoy our interactive exhibition on the solar system.

Opening times:
School holidays: from 11th/02 to 12th/03, from 7th/04 to 6th/05 and from 27th/10 to 7th/11: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
From 1st/06 to 17th/06: Sundays from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
From 18th/06 to 30th/06 and from 1st/09 to 16th/09: daily from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
From 1st/07 to 31st/08: daily from 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Admission:
Manoir only:
Adult: 5 €
Child (7-12 years old): 3,50 €
Free for under 7.
Manoir + exhibition:
Adult: 6 €
Child (7-12 years old): 4,50 €
Free for under 7.
Length of visit: 2 hours (manoir + temporary exhibition).
