Dedicated to the memory of sculptor André Deluol (1909-2003), the museum houses a collection of more than 150 pieces by this remarkable artist, whose work glorifies the human body.
With an expert hand, he sculpted directly in stone, marble and wood, as well as in molten glass (Daum). He worked from sketches made on Canvas, which are also on show in the museum. A member of the “Salon d’Automne” and the “Salon des Indépendants”, Deluol was awarded the title of “Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres” (for outstanding achievement in the arts) and his career was crowned by numerous exhibitions. His works can be viewed in several French cities and in a number of international museums.
