MOULIN DES GOURMANDS

SAINT REVEREND

The mill of Père Aristide Praud, built in 1842, is the last remaining of the six mills located in the district of Saint Révérend which were still in operation during the last century.

It bears witness to the ancestral tradition of flour-milling in a district known as the “granary” of the region.
Discover from the horse’s mouth how flour is made as the miller takes you on a guided tour of the working mill, then visit the bakery, where the baker will reveal the secrets of his craft.
For children, there is a mystery to solve by following a trail of clues, as well as a series of games to test their observational and thinking skills.

Opening times:
From 8th/04 to 8th/05: from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, everyday except on Saturdays, on Thursday the visit of the mill only.
From 9th/05 to 31st/05: from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sundays and bank holidays, on Thursday the visit of the mill only.
From 1st/06 to 4th/07: from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, everyday except on Saturdays, on Thursday the visit of the mill only.
From 5th/07 to 2nd/09: from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm every day.
From 3rd/09 to 16th/09: from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, everyday except September 8th. On Thursday the visit of the mill only. On September 15th and 16th, Heritage open Days 2012, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

Guided tours of the mill and the bakery
Adult: 6,30 €
Child (6-12 years): 3,20 €
Free for children under 6 years.
