MUSÉE DES TRADITIONS POPULAIRES
Housed in an old school built in 1891, this museum depicts the daily lives of the inhabitants of the Pays d’Olonne at the beginning of the 20th century. Discover 6 exhibition halls, a classroom, costumes and head gear of the era, as well as many everyday objects (traditional craftsmanship, tools, furniture, kitchen utensils,tools of the salt producer, the farmer, the wine-grower, the still, mementoes of the Great War). 5€/adult, 2€/6-12 years. April, June, September, and All-Saints holidays, open from Monday to Friday 2.30-5.30 pm. July and August from Monday to Friday 3-6.30 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am-noon. Off-season : Tuesdays 2.30-5.30 pm. Closed on bank holiday.
