Nature and bird reserves

The Vendee has several outstanding nature and bird reserves on the coast, as well as inland. Bird observatories in Aiguillon Bay and the Bay of Bourgneuf allow you to study various species while observing migratory birds. In Les Landes Genusson, the City of Birds is home to many animals and songbirds, which can be observed from the vast dyke and its various viewpoints on the wide lake. Alternatively, in the Marais poitevin Regional Nature Park, you will become totally adsorbed by these incredible natural beauty sites. These unspoilt natural areas have exceptional flora and fauna environments.
