The Clos des Chaumes vineyard has been handed down from generation to generation.
In 1955, Fabien Murail's grandfather, René Crépeau, began winegrowing by planting 1 hectare of vines. His father, Gustave Murail, then developed the business, increasing the vineyard to 11 hectares, mainly planting Rosé and Red varieties. Today, the story continues with Fabien, trained in the trade and with a wealth of experience in different vineyards in France. He has introduced new white grape varieties (Chenin-Chardonnay) and relaunched the Château Brédurière vineyard.
Their names are : Jadis, Lina, Moelleux, Convoitise or simply Le clos des chaumes, from red to rosé, white and sparkling, all the wines are authentic and subtle.
In winter, the winery is open by appointment.
